As a web designer for the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History and Anacostia Community Museum, I worked on projects that rely on community input, engagment, and interactivity to succeed.

Now living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I work as a freelance web designer and digital humanist. I begin my first year as an Urban History PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Fall 2012.

My research interests include recent battlegrounds in the black freedom struggle, mass incarceration, and community history.
